This project I try to use ray caster to interact with the scene. Started with building my farm land, I found some prefabs in unity store and make this scene:


Then I added a white piont in the view for raycaster. Now I started making my own carrots prefabs, first add collider so ray caster can trigger an event when looking at it. Then is rigidbody so it would fall down due to gravity. Then I realize with a rigidbody, my carrot can’t stand across the terrain. So in the script, I add it a rigidbody when the carrot is big enough and would fly out of the land.

It’s an interesting exprience especially when you see the normal farm stuff become so big in front of you, makes you feel you are pretty small.
